The Accountability Lab is very excited to have Rakesh Karna on the team as Country Coordinator for Nepal. Rakesh will lead the accountability work from Kathmandu with his experience in governance and development.

Accountability Innovations We Love, No.4: “Public-Public Partnerships”

There has been a huge amount written on urban governance in well-known success stories such as Singapore and on lesser-known but useful models for municipal citizen engagement in places such as Colombia. Some great research on these issues is currently being carried out by organizations in the developing world including PRIA in India and Isandla in South Africa- both with support from forward-thinking funders such as the Ford Foundation.

The Lab welcomes Briana Thompson as a new Accountability Fellow!

The Accountability Lab is very excited to have Briana Thompson on the team as an Accountability Fellow. Briana will support operations from Washington, DC with her experience in program management and international affairs. Briana graduated from Boston College in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, with a concentration in Political Science and a minor in French.
