Brooks joins the team in Monrovia as an “Accountability Architect”!

headshotThe Lab is excited to announce that Brooks Marmon has joined the team as an Accountability Architect in Liberia! Brooks is passionate about accountability and transparency issues, and the transformative power of education and cultural exchange.

Previously, Brooks supported international higher education partnerships at the American Council on Education and assisted with the implementation of an Africa workshop series directed by the American Political Science Association. He studied abroad in Namibia, received a university summer fellowship for volunteer work in Ghana, and served with the Peace Corps in Niger. Brooks is an ardent follower of African affairs and launched the first blog covering African policy events in Washington DC. He holds a particular interest in Liberia, which formed the subject of his MA thesis. Brooks holds BA and MA degrees in History from Clark University.
